What does this resource cover? 

This is a modular AI safety suite within the Experience AI education program, published by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in collaboration with Google DeepMind . It consists of short video animations, unplugged (screen-free) activities, and structured discussion prompts aimed at teaching AI responsibility, privacy, and security to 11–14-year-olds.

What will community members learn? 

According to the included lesson plan, after you complete this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain how AI uses personal data differently than other forms of technology. 
  • Identify how AI-generated content can be used responsibly. 
  • Develop critical thinking skills in real-life AI scenarios. 

 

How long will this program take?

  • 50 minutes

  • Computer with internet access
  • Slides 
  • Printouts 
  • Sticky notes, markers, printed role-play prompts
