What does this resource cover? 

This lesson was created by CommonSense Education and will help sixth grade-aged students learn how to be safe when playing games online. Downloadable materials are available in both English and Spanish.

What will community members learn? 

According to the included lesson plan, after learners complete this lesson, they will be able to:

  • Define "social interaction" and give an example
  • Describe the positives and negatives of social interaction in online games
  • Create an online video game cover that includes guidelines for positive social interaction

How long will this program take?

  • 45 minutes
